Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) performs three core functions in relation to Government-owned and Government-funded facilities in the following programme areas:
Our Departmental operation is funded by the Capital Works Reserve Fund which is approved, monitored and reviewed by the Legislative Council (LegCo).
During 2017, we have created a total of 4,947 jobs by awarding works contracts and consultancies. We commenced 35 new works and term contracts during the year.

In the financial year 2017-18, we recorded an overall increase of around 1.61%[1] as comparing with the previous financial year in 2016-17. Expenditure breakdown of our department and by different programme areas[2] for the financial year 2017-18 are provided below.
