In green procurement, we seek building materials from sustainable sources. For example, timber shall be obtained from a responsibly managed forest or plantation which has obtained certification from, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or from a known licensed source. To ensure that the certified timber is the same through the stages of processing, manufacturing and distribution, the chain of custody will be further checked on delivery to site to verify that the timber is from a genuine sustainable source.
