School Programme
Objectives
The School Programme allows primary school students to expand their career opportunities through a series of architectural-related activities.
Allow students to immerse themselves in architectural knowledge through experiential activities and competitions, which enhance their understanding and interest in local building design.
Integrate public architecture into the career planning curriculum of primary schools to spark students’ interest in architecture.
Encourage children to demonstrate their creativity by designing architectural models, as well as learning basic building, structure, and design concepts to address problems.

Career Planning Talk
In the lectures, Mr. Billy LAW and Ms. Michelle LAW, senior architects, shared the roles and responsibilities of architects in a construction project with the P.5 students. While discussing various architectural styles, building design, tools and construction processes, students can deepen their knowledge and interest in the construction industry.

Pre-contest Training
To prepare Hong Kong primary school children for the "Ideal Campus" Design Competition, three working architects and a number of local and international university architectural students coached children across Hong Kong.
Spread across three weeks, students were given first-hand exposure to architectural model techniques as they learned how to enhance their drawing skills, and channel their creativity towards campus-related architectural designs.

Event Highlights
"Ideal Campus" Design Competition
The three schools each sent two groups of students to participate in the competition. The ArchSD organized a tutoring session before the contest featuring three young architects, Ms. CHIU Ning, Miss Leah LIU and Ms. Rosalie KWAN, to lead students as they crafted their own design concepts and working procedures.
