Kai Tak Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Sau Nan Primary School is located between Tak Long Estate, Kai Ching Estate and Shing Kai Road in Kai Tak Development Area. Completed in December 2015, the School provides an oasis in the urban context. The setback, open spaces, greenery, vertical greening and timber screens provide a visual escape from the busy neighbourhood.
The project is a live case of adaptive re-use of Hong Kong's treasured heritage. The works involve the conversion and refurbishment of the building on No. 8 Jackson Road, which was formerly the Supreme Court of Hong Kong until 1978 and was converted into the use of the Legislative Council Building in 1985, for the relocation of the Court of Final Appeal.
Community Green Station - HK East received the President’s Prize of Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) Annual Awards in 2015.
TI Tower is a prominent green building project that consists of a government offices building and a community hall, which puts strong emphasis on energy conservation and greening.
This year is the 30th Anniversary of the Department. The Architectural Services Department will continue service the community by enhancing the living environment.
